He expected cooperation from Hans Foundation to use Pirul as a substitute for cooking gas for mid-day meals in schools. The Chief Secretary said that with this the people associated with the employment of Pirul will also get a market as well as the forests will be saved from fire.

The Chief Secretary said that along with BRC and CRC in the field of education, Hans Foundation can cooperate in capacity building in the field of skill development, in the field of livelihood, Hans Foundation can provide support in training programs. According to Sandeep Kapoor, CEO of Hans Foundation, 52 medical mobile units are being operated by Hans Foundation in 1235 remote villages across the state. Under the Swan Entrepreneurship Mission, technical assistance, business plan and assistance in loan approval are being provided to the entrepreneurs in the schemes run by the state government.
