National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to release the result of NEET UG 2023 soon. NTA will also release NEET UG 2023 answer key, OMR sheet and recorded responses before the result. Though no official announcement has been made regarding the result dates, but it is expected in this month itself. After the declaration of NEET UG 2023 result, candidates will be able to check their scores from the official website – neet.nta.nic.in.
Know about the marking scheme
For every correct answer, four marks are awarded to the candidates and one mark is deducted for every wrong answer. If students do not answer any question, they will get zero marks.
NTA NEET UG 2023: Section-wise marking scheme
For Section A (MCQs):
- Correct Answer or Most Appropriate Answer: Four Marks (+4)
- (-1) will be given for wrong answer.
- On leaving the answer blank (0).
- If more than one option is found to be correct then four marks (+4) will be given only to those who have marked any one of the correct options.
- If all the options are found correct then four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.
- If none of the options is found to be correct or any question is found to be wrong or any question is left out, four marks (+4) will be given to all the appeared candidates, irrespective of the fact that the question was attempted Whether or not the candidate
For Section B (MCQs)
- Correct Answer: Four marks (+4)
- Incorrect Answer: (-1)
- Unanswered: No mark (0).
- If more than one option is found to be correct then four marks (+4) will be given only to those who have marked any one of the correct options.
- If all the options are found correct then four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.
- If any question is found wrong or the question is left out then four marks (+4) will be given to all those who have attempted the question.
- Candidates are advised to calculate with the constants (if any) given in the questions.
