The country’s first robotic surgery training center started in AIIMS Delhi, here doctors from all over the country will be taught to perform surgery through robotics by the experts of AIIMS. Through this, surgery can be done easily in that part of the body, where it is very difficult to do at the human level.
The center has been set up in partnership with India Medtronic Pvt. Ltd. The center will provide the best training to surgeons in robotic surgery. It also includes wet lab training with simulations. Apart from AIIMS, doctors from other hospitals will also be able to take training in robotic surgery. Now doctors will not need to go abroad for training in robotic surgery.
What are the advantages of robotic surgery
However, doctors at AIIMS say that robotic surgery is more expensive than normal surgery, but through this surgery with new technology, the patient’s recovery is much faster. The risk of infection to the patient is also very less during robotic surgery. With the help of this surgery, severe to severe diseases can be controlled in less time. Please tell that in the present situation, their number is very less in other states including Delhi. Through this training in Delhi AIIMS, their number will increase and people will get good treatment.
What does AIIMS director have to say on this
AIIMS Director Dr M Srinivas has signed an agreement to set up a robotic surgery training facility. Under this agreement with India Medtronic Pvt Ltd, robotic training facility will be co-built and developed at AIIMS.
