Corona virus is once again spreading its foot in the country. There has been a slight decline in the cases of Kovid-19 on Saturday (April 15) as compared to the previous day. Six deaths each have been recorded in Delhi and Kerala. This was followed by four deaths in Maharashtra, three in Rajasthan and one death each in Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.
According to the data updated on Saturday by the Union Health Ministry, India is witnessing a steady rise in active COVID-19 cases. There were 49,622 active cases in the country on Friday. Which has now increased to 53,720.
Data from the Ministry of Health shows that a total of 4,42,23,211 people have been cured of the corona virus infection, while 5,31,091 people have died since the pandemic began.
According to the website of the Ministry of Health, the daily positivity rate has reached 6.78% and the weekly rate has reached 4.49%. Apart from this, the recovery rate is 98.69%. At the same time, the death rate was recorded at 1.19%. In the last 14 days i.e. from April 1 to 14, 89 thousand people have been infected in the country. Amid the spurt in Covid-19 cases in the country, health experts have advised people to wear masks and follow Covid norms.
